Holiday promo videos
The Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) focuses on the movement of people and goods throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. In 2024, they wanted a video to promote and remind people that they can take a bus where they are traveling to for the holidays. The Reingold team, my marketing client, designed the look and I animated. I created horizontal, vertical, and square versions.
The most fun part to animate was definitely the leaves! I used a particle generator in After Effects and fiddled with the physics controls, as well as manually animating a few leaves, to look like they were being disturbed by the wind and the bus. That was the project managers favorite part too! That’s the kind of attention to detail I like to add to every project.
