Make the Connection - Mental Health for Women in Service
Shared experiences and mental health support for veterans is critical. This video was designed to reach out to women veterans specifically to encourage them to get mental health services at the VA.
I designed the mosaic look and at the time found it challenging to create smooth camera moves in 2.5D space in After Effects to move from one interview to the next, as well as the timing of all the other animated elements on screen, like the white lines, color changes, the interview soundbytes, and more. Now I would find it relatively simple! It turned out great though and received a lot of engagement on social media. I’d be happy if it helped just one more person get the mental health help they needed.
